Lap dancing Licence

We are disappointed that in spite of objections from the Police, the Mint, and local residents, our near neighbours, the EX4 Club, have been granted a licence to provide lap dancing and pole dancing.    We will continue to oppose such applications.

It remains our belief that such establishments

(1) demean the dignity of all women,

(2) lead men to regard women as sex objects,

(3) can hide sex industry activities, including trafficking, and

(4) increase the risk that girls and women nearby will meet with unwelcome, intimidating and/or offensive attention and even physical attack
