Report 2011

Hello all, hope you all have had a good 2011 I thought I'd give you a review of the Website from when it went live in September.

Below is a table of statistics which I have screen dumped to show you how popular the website is - it would be intretersting to find a comparisim between stats from the old website! looking below we see an average of 1,456 unique visitors every month in total we have had 5470 visitors to the site since it launched.

We try to update the site week to week (Thats Me and the Minister Andrew Sails - Andrew Does alot of updating when information comes up where as I update the complicated bits to the website like uploading photos, adding sermons and editing the framework of the website We still would like as many of you as possible to contribute abit of your time to update your group pages or events that you are holding at the Church if you can manage to use a word processor and you can easily manover around menu's then you can edit your bit on the website. I also look after the social media platforms for the church but take a large part in the Twitter Platform where I  communicate with people around Exeter and Devon by posting service times Re-tweeting other company's and church tweets. I manage a twitter account for the Church itself and also the Church Centre's account where I have promoted events at the centre and also keeping people informed of what we offer at the centre. all of this information is sent also to twitter by using software called Tweet Deck I can also set up auto messages If I know I'm going to be too busy to post the item. Exeter is becoming more social each day with more and more company's signing up and its nice to be part of this movement in technology as a Busy and Active Church in the Centre of Exeter. I will be doing alot more with social media at the church in 2012 - If you have a smartphone checkin to Forsquare at the church I am currently the Mayor but you never know you might steal the Mayorship off me! Looking to 2012 I am going to be uploading 2 video guides one to the Church Centre and another to the Church itself - I had said about it in my last update but have been very busy as we all are in December. I would like to get as much in to the video as possible so will be filming during the week and also on Sundays some of these small clips within a 5 min film might not be included - I want an overall feel to what the Mint is like I will be also doing work to the Bookings side to the church and also working on the long project of adding Sermons to the website.
