12.01.22 Cake Stall

QUARTERLY CAKES
On Sunday 22nd January I plan to have a cake sale after the morning service towards Redevelopment Funds debt and would ask all the "cake makers" out there to be very generous and make me a cake or cakes to sell. I envisage having some large ones which I will cut up as I know that many of us are on our own and do not wish to have a huge cake to get through, although a nice slice with a cup of tea is very tempting. Also I would like some small cakes or tray bakes to sell singly; and puddings such as 2-person crumbles would go down very well. Also I know some of our congregation have been marmalade-making before Christmas so if they can spare a jar or two as homemade always sells so well.
If this cake sale is a success I plan to hold it quarterly so we can make a bit of a dint into the outstanding debt.
Hoping you will help me to make this a worthwhile event, and if you could let me know if you would be willing to make some goodies I will be pleased to hear from you.
Thanks in advance,
Margaret Farrow
