KNITTING, CRAFTS AND LACEMAKING AT THE MINT
HONITON LACEMAKING
Starting weekly on Tuesday and Thursdays
from 7.00 – 9.00 pm.
Complete beginners will work a piece of lace designed to cover traditional techniques of this classis bobbin lace. The more experienced will be encouraged to extend skills and knowledge and experiment with design, interpretation and technique.

RAG RUGGING
This Course will allow learners to become confident in four techniques and produce four samples: proddy, hooky, knitted and peg loom. The course will also discuss the historical context of the craft and the importance of colour and texture when planning a project.
Held in the Priory Room on Saturday 22nd and 29th October and 5th and 12th November from 10.00 – 3.30 pm.
