Young Church
For children and young people ....
Every Sunday ...
we have a creche for the under -3's for parents attending the church service, from just before 10.30am - to the end of the service. there are activities for children of all ages, from 3 year olds to teens ...
Primary is for 3 - 7 year olds and meets from 10.30 to 11. 30 approx.
Sunday Club meets from 10am - 12 noon, for children from 7 years old, with games, activities, stories, dance and drama. We often use our Sunday sessions to prepare for All Age worship.
Young Church Hymn
Something rather special happened at the morning service on Sunday 11th December when the ‘World Premier’ of a new hymn written by six members of the Young Church – Jerry, Nehemiah, Cody, Taylor, Sophie and Alex - was sung by the whole congregation. The hymn was written during one of the special Summer Holiday Young Church sessions and the tune was composed by Alex at a later date. The writers and composers were thrilled to hear their hymn being sung by a full congregation. Who knows, this may have inspired them, and others, to write further hymns!
