Social Events & Fundraising

 

Many thanks to all those who have supported our recent fundraising activities
in aid of the Mint Redevelopment Fund.
 

 

·       Rock Nativity DVD sales raised £100.

·       The May Market & Plant raised almost £900. 
In addition Barclays Bank have donated additional matched funding of £750.

·       Anniversary Gift Day has raised to date £20,750, which will increase to £26,000 with Gift Aid.

·       Safari Supper raised £575.

 

Please make a note of these dates and support the following events:

·       June 18th 2008:   FORCE Day at the Boobiers

·       June 24th 2008:  Cream Tea at Angela & John White’s (for World Mission)

·       July & August 2008:  Coffee Mornings & Cream Teas at the homes of various members (for Redevelopment Fund)

·       13th September 2008:  Korean Chu Suk celebrations (organised by the Korean Group)

·       28th September 2008:  Harvest Festival Lunch - simple bread, cheese & home-made soup - for Christian Aid

·       25th October 2008:  Mint Quiz.    Tickets £5 each to include a light supper.  (for Redevelopment Fund).

·       Mid-November:  Mint Calendar will be on sale. 

·       22nd November 2008:  Old Time Music Hall.  (for Redevelopment Fund).

·       29th November 2008:  Christmas Market. (for Redevelopment Fund).

·       20th December 2008:  Carol Singing in the Mint Car Park.  (for NCH)

·       6th & 7th February 2009:  Mint Pantomime.  Written & produced by Maureen Coleman & Gill Horn. (for Redevelopment Fund).

·       4th March 2009 -  Fashion Show “Off the Peg”.   Models will be required (of all shapes & sizes).  The men of the Mint will do the refreshments.  (for Redevelopment Fund).

·       16th May 2009:  May Market & Plant Sale.  (for Redevelopment Fund).
