Dunsford Gardens House Group

This house group continues to meet fortnightly, as it has done for many years, in the comforting home of Harold and Sybil Bayley, now both frail nonagenarians. We are still a mixed multitude, and while the membership is predominantly Mint-based, we enjoy the fellowship of members from St Leonards and Pinhoe Rd Baptist. A time of worship (Songs & Hymns of Fellowship) and sharing (both joys and concerns) is followed by a speaker who leads our thoughts: we conclude with a time of thanksgiving and intercession, in which members are free to join as they feel led. Speakers are invited from a wide variety of traditions [David Cole, Bill Hill, Roy Sambles, Mark Perkins are frequent visitors] and almost always take a biblical theme. We try to keep a warm, loving and unpressured atmosphere where everyone can feel relaxed and comfortable. The continued loyalty of its members (past and present) is testimony to the efficacy and value of the group.
