Affirmation  (remain standing as we say together)

We believe in God

who has created and is creating,
who has come in Jesus,
the Word made flesh,
to reconcile and make new,
who works in us and others
by the Spirit.

We trust in God.

We are called to be the Church:

to celebrate God’s presence,
to live with respect for creation,
to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
our judge and our hope.

In life, in death, in life beyond death,
God is with us.   We are not alone.

Thanks be to God,  Amen.

Choir:  “Hallelujah” from Handel, The Messiah

Hallelujah: for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth.  (Revelation 19:6)

The kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord,
and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever. (Revelation 11:15)

King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.  (Revelation 19: 16)

Hallelujah!

Prayers and Lord’s Prayer

Hymn  “All people that on earth do dwell”

Congregation and Choir:

All people that on earth do dwell,

Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice:

Him serve with fear, his praise forth tell;

Come ye before him and rejoice.

The Lord, ye know, is God indeed;

Without our aid he did us make:

We are his folk, he doth us feed;

And for his sheep he doth us take.

Choir:

O enter then his gates with praise;

Approach with joy his courts unto;

Praise, laud, and bless his name always,

For it is seemly so to do.

For why, the Lord our God is good;

His mercy is for ever sure;

His truth at all times firmly stood,

And shall from age to age endure.

Congregation and Choir:

To Father, Son and Holy Ghost,

The God whom heaven and earth adore,

From men and from the angel host,

Be praise and glory ever more.     Amen.

Blessing
