If you are a new visitor have a browse around the website. There's lots on offer at the Mint - especially check out Church Life!
We are a Christian centre at the top of Fore Street in Exeter and our aim is to work with and for the whole community. If you want to share food or music, if you are looking for walking groups or talking groups, film groups or theatre groups or if you just want a chat and a cup of Fairtrade coffee, why not call in?
We are particularly concerned with spiritual exploration, with Christian worship, Bible study and discussion of contemporary issues, as well as holding regular meetings between differing faith traditions. We also host a wide variety of community groups on our premises, including yoga, martial arts and poetry.
We are international and inclusive - all creeds, languages and lifestyles are welcome here - and we are passionate about peace and justice and making the world a better place. We are much more than a building.
We seek to be “alive with Christ in the community” -and that means we aim to be there for you, your needs and your concerns!
We are a church whose core worship is traditional, but we always are willing to explore new ways of worshipping. From September on every fourth Sunday of the month evening worship will take the form of a Café Service where new expressions of worship can be explored in an informal setting. - See more about our worship here
The Mint provides a valuable service to the city and wider community by providing a convenient, pleasant and affordable meeting place – including making space available without charge to groups, many people come into our Church Centre throughout the week - see our weekly order of service and news sheet for details on this weeks opening times. Aims and Objectives
We are seeking to grow our congregation and our giving, to provide more opportunities for individuals to deepen their Christian faith, to contribute more to the Circuit and the Connexion both financially and by inspiring people to take on local preaching and offer for the ordained ministry, and to continue our support for local and national charities and campaigning organizations.
