OUR BUILDING WORK HAS NOW BEGUN

Please note that work on the Mint Redevelopment Scheme means that
the Church Car Park will be closed until Christmas.
Please use on street and off street parking (Smythen St, Mary Arches St etc).

The Mint remains open as usual -
For Sunday morning worship, walk up the left side of the builders’ fence
and enter the Church by the main door as usual.

For Sunday evening worship and midweek activities,
walk up the left side of the builders’ fence, then turn left in front of the Church,
go through the gate into Mint Lane and turn right.
Enter the premises by the Mint Lane door on your right.

On occasions the car park will be closed to pedestrians -
in this case, walk down Fore Street and turn up Mint Lane (the alleyway by the Mint pub)
which will lead you to our Mint Lane door on your right.

Lap dancing Licence

We are disappointed that in spite of objections from the Police, the Mint, and local residents, our near neighbours, the EX4 Club, have been granted a licence to provide lap dancing and pole dancing.    We will continue to oppose such applications.   It remains our belief that such establishments (1) demean the dignity of all women, (2) lead men to regard women as sex objects, (3) can hide sex industry activities, including trafficking, and (4) increase the risk that girls and women nearby will meet with unwelcome, intimidating and/or offensive attention and even physical attack
